![]() ![]() I don't think I will ever have anything negative to say about a KJ Charles book. These two end up on a bit of an adventure when they must work together to stop a big bad evil all the while trying to keep Crispin from being arrested when he can't help but fall back on using the only (highly illegal) magic he's ever known. This is the continued story of Crispin, a warlock struggling to learn how to use his powers for good, and his paper-seller beau, Ned. I just treated them like an established couple in this book and their backstory is summed up well. Story: Note: I just found out that Crispin and Ned are introduced in the short story A Queer Trade, so I'm off to read that! I don't think I had any issues having not read it first, though. Narration: Cornell is probably my favorite narrator of historical romances, so I'm 100% biased and loved his narration of Rag and Bone. Can't go wrong with KJ Charles & Cornell Collins! ![]()
